Café, delicious as hell (from Zodiac)

    he and she

    最后,我喜欢听的歌是,if you rescue me。

    take me away aliens
    ps.

magician of nature, dedicated to catalan architect Antoni Gaudí

8 years ago, i discovered this honest man in a fashion magazine, it then totally changed my life. now, among Alvar Aalto, Achille Castiglioni and Antoni Gaudí, 3 of my architect-designer preference, first one naturalist, second one humanist, and Gaudí, he s even the truest and purest one. every visitor, even he s not a professional, is running for Gaudí as soon as the arrival in the city of barcelona. maybe that legendized temple, where every tourist spent hours and hours queuing for the elevator going up to the top of the roof, didn t make any sense for me, but i felt competely speechless once i stepped into the Casa Batlló, not only by his culty organic curved lines, but also the patio which Gaudí expanded and installed a large skylight in. that magnific patio walls of the upper floors are covered by cobalt-blue tiles, proceeding downwards, the color of the tiles fades to white. the darker tiles, closer to the skylight, reflect less light while the white tiles reflect more. when viewed from below, the patio walls are perceived as a continuous intermediate blue color. with the same objective of even lighting in mind, Gaudí placed smaller windows on the upper floors of the patio and larger ones on the lower levels. what a brilliant idea!!! besides, Parque Güell s a superlative craftsmanship as well. i do regret that i didn t search patiently my mosaic n.13, the bizarre feminine figure hidden among the columns, and not even mentioned that mysterious calvary with 3 crosses in the hill. maybe i should go to barcelona for another time. cause anyway it worth to check them by my own eyes.
believe it or not, my vintage dc loves Wong Kai Wei s style a lots, especially when i take foto in the interior, at this point it s god damned perfect!

my fantastic archi-tour in spain s finally finished

lots of people asked me my feeling about spain and the spanish architecture recently. well, firstly, let s try to ignore the rubbish and cigarette thing here, then i d like to say this s the best trip i ve ever had in europe, i mean, in scandinavia i made some good friends, in italy i got lost all the time. but in spain, i m successfully done my job. one of my architecture student friend i made in madrid said that we re the building hunters. precisely, i m a modern building hunter.
after having been experienced enormous traditional churches, palaces and all those god damned romain ruins, it becomes more and more clear that i m still young and do need sth fresh! following my instinct, spent 1 day in figueres, 8 days in barcelona, 2 days in bilbao and 6 days in madrid, i found sth extraordinary, which is, landscape design. since a long time ago, i m exhausted of endless boring paintings and turns to pay more attention to sculpture and industrial design. but i always doubted if there s a balancing act between fine arts and architecture, on the other side sth can be perfectly adapted to the design objects. i was confused and even was desperate during more than one year. but now fortunately, i discover ´ít´ my way! and spain inspirated me.
finally i feel i can breath again...
